Crypto Profit Calculator

Work out what a position actually made or lost. Enter what you put in, the price you bought at and the price you are selling at, and add your exchange fees so the number reflects what you keep rather than what the chart suggests.

Each of these opens the same calculator with sensible decimal precision for that asset and a live price lookup — useful for sub-cent tokens where rounding wrecks the result.

How it works

Calculator Questions

Enter what you invested, the price you bought at and the price you are selling at. The calculator works out how many coins that buys, what they are worth at the exit price, and the resulting profit or loss in both cash and percentage terms. Optional fee fields let you include exchange charges so the number reflects what you actually keep.

Only if you enter them. Add your entry and exit fee percentages and both are subtracted from the result. Most exchanges charge somewhere between 0.1% and 0.5% per trade, but check your own fee schedule rather than assuming.

No. The calculation runs entirely in your browser and nothing you type is transmitted or stored. If you use the live price button, we request only the current price from a public market data API — your figures are not part of that request.

No. Crypto disposals are taxable in most jurisdictions and the rules vary widely. Treat the result as a pre-tax figure and speak to someone qualified where you live.

No, and nothing here should be read that way. The scenario table simply shows the arithmetic of what a given price would mean for your position. It is not a forecast that any of those prices will occur.

This tool performs arithmetic on figures you supply. It is not financial advice and it does not predict prices — see our financial disclaimer.
